OUR GUIDELINES

Welcome to the 93% Club Professionals Network. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and supportive community where systemic change thrives. To ensure a safe and enriching environment for all members, we have established these comprehensive community guidelines. We kindly ask all Network members to adhere to these principles:

THE SHORT

We're so excited to introduce the 93% Club Professionals Network ("Network") and want the Network to be an authentic and safe place for systemic change. Help us foster this community by respecting everyone in the Network: please don't spam anyone, be unconstructively disruptive or use profanities or hate speech.

Have fun! This is the pilot year for 93% Professionals and you have the opportunity to build it into something incredible. Be sure to engage and support your fellow members - at The 93% Club we believe in giving as much as you get! After all, this is about driving systemic change.

THE LONG

The Network is a reflection of our diverse community. We've spent a lot of time thinking about the different points of view that create a safe and open environment for everyone, as well as ways that we can ensure that The 93% Club is the UK’s least exclusive members’ club.

We created these guidelines so you can help us foster and protect this amazing community. By being part of the Network, you agree to these guidelines, our terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of our service providers (Slack and JoinIt). We're committed to these guidelines and we hope that you are too. Overstepping these boundaries may result in removal from the Network, our events or other restrictions.

ENGAGE IN A POSITIVE AND RESPECTFUL MANNER

We hope that you can engage with the Network in all ways possible ,e.g., mentoring students members of the Club, attending events, promoting our work on your social media platforms, but please do this in a constructive manner. We want the Network to be open to everyone so please do not hinder other members from being part of this.

  • Avoid Spam: We want you to share all of your interesting thoughts, but please do not engage in unsolicited messages or promotional activities that disrupt the experience of others.

  • Constructive Engagement: Engage with fellow members, mentors, and students in a constructive and respectful manner, whether it's through mentoring, attending events, or sharing our mission on your social media platforms.

  • Hate Speech and Harassment: Do not partake in hate speech, harassment, threats, or any activity that degrades, shames, or harms individuals based on their socioeconomic background, class, educational background, race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases.

  • Personal and Public Safety: Refrain from making specific threats of physical harm, theft, vandalism, or any other form of financial harm. We take such threats seriously and will assess their credibility carefully.

Remember to always follow the law when engaging in the Network.

The Network is not a place to support or praise terrorism, organised crime or hate groups. Offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms, alcohol, tobacco or live animals between private individuals, and buying or selling non-medical or pharmaceutical drugs are also not allowed.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG, DO GET IN TOUCH

Help us keep the community strong:

  • Each of us is an important part of the Network. If you see something that you think may violate our guidelines, please help us by contacting us at professionals@93percent.club. Even if you are not part of the Network, please do still reach out if you feel that these guidelines have been breached.

  • Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the Network. We are happy to help with these conversations where relevant and appropriate.

  • We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there's risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
